Join A4 at the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry's (SETAC) North America Conference in November 2022 and share your work on alternatives assessment with the broader SETAC community.

Abstract submissions are now open and due June 2, 2022!

The A4 platform session at SETAC North America aims to showcase the latest advances in alternatives assessment methods for use in policy and for private industry practices. Presentations on recent research or alternatives assessment case studies that demonstrate advances related to all components of the process are of interest, including performance and cost evaluations, as well as the nexus between other sustainability initiatives (e.g., product circularity, environmental justice, Net Zero campaigns) that are of interest to the SETAC community. Also, of interest are case studies revealing lessons learned related to the implementation of the assessment results or methods and resources being used to advance the evaluation of both “safer” and “more sustainable” alternatives within an alternatives assessment context.
