Deputy Head of Chemicals Division, Danish EPA
Anette Ejersted is the Deputy Head of chemicals division in the Danish EPA, Min. of Environment. She has served in the Danish EPA since 2001 in different fields of chemicals management from national regulation to EU legislation and global conventions. During this work she has been working with the government’s possibilities and tools in promoting the use of safer alternatives and substitution. This includes risk reduction strategies, national signal list of chemicals to be phased out, economic tools to support companies in developing safer alternatives and working with substitution and legislative processes. Anette Ejersted has a MSc in Chemicals and biotechnology from Aarhus University.
