Topher Buck is a Project Manager at NEWMOA, where he manages the Interstate Chemicals Clearinghouse (IC2), including several online database projects, alternatives assessment initiatives, and development of a multi-state approach to product disclosure and testing. Before joining NEWMOA in 2014, he worked for a small start-up in Cambridge, MA. From 2006 through 2011, Topher directed GreenBlue’s Chemicals Program and managed CleanGredients®, which provides information on the environmental and human health attributes of chemicals to support safer product formulation. He has more than 20 years’ experience working with government agencies, NGOs, private-sector firms, and academic institutions on a range of environmental issues. Topher spent five years in the Ph.D. program at the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley, has a master›s degree in environmental science from Yale University, and has a bachelor›s degree in chemistry and religious studies from Wesleyan University.
